My story.
My own history of disordered eating and years of religiously counting calories and over-exercising, never being satisfied or feeling “healthy enough”, finally led me to the realization that how society tells us to live is so far from actually being healthy. I’ve come to personally experience what it means to live a healthy life by giving up all the rules I had around eating and started to follow my intuition with food and movement, trusting my body, and finding satisfaction and pleasure with eating.
I’ve helped women just like you, women who’ve tried everything under the sun to just feel healthy, energized, and at peace, finally get to the root of why they struggle so much with food. You see, our relationship with food is about so much more than just the food. And when you start to uncover what that is for you, everything changes.
Here in this space I talk a lot about all things intuitive eating, body image, women’s health, and whole-body health. I believe nutrition and healthy living is about so much more than just eating the “right” foods or the “right” number of calories. Health starts with a healthy mind, and with that, a healthy relationship with food and your body.
Fun facts.
I’m a mom of 2 plus one fur baby living in South Carolina, I love Jesus, coffee or wine dates with friends, Outlander, and a good page-turning mystery novel.
